IPIC maintains and visits the enterprise "Define Clean Limited", the "Innovation Base of Intellectual Property for Small and Medium sized Enterprises"

On May 22, 2024, the IPIC Intellectual Property Innovation Alliance team maintained and visited the SME IP Innovation Base, a small and medium-sized enterprise intellectual property innovation hub.

Professor Shirly Ling, President of IPIC, and Mr. Dewitt Chik, Vice Chairman, personally walked into "Define Clean Limited".

The IPIC team was received by "Define Clean Limited". Both parties will exchange and discuss on the current production and operation status, intellectual property protection, technological innovation and development, and market demand of the enterprise.

"Define Clean Limited" is a green technology startup that develops, manufactures, and sells personal and home cleaning and disinfection powders without disposable plastic packaging. By removing the most important component (over 98%) of daily cleaning agents - water - and turning it into a pack of powder, the volume and weight of the product are only 2% of those on the market, making it convenient for storage and transportation. Taking inspiration from daily food, the PhD team in food science and chemistry analyzes its molecules and properties by extracting natural ingredients such as plants and minerals. "Define Clean Limited" also won the Excellence Award in the "IPIC Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Competition" at the SME IP Innovation Base Small and Medium sized Enterprise Intellectual Property Innovation Base.
